She liked the house at the zoo where if you stayed still the butterflies landed on you.
She liked how her father would struggle to describe the color green.
She liked the texture of caramel and hated everything about mushrooms.
She liked the hugs from the costumed characters who roamed the grounds, except the dog with the belt buckle that scratched her face.
She was still too young, too small to ride the “big” rides at the amusement park.
Her favorite thing though was to sit on the bench nearest the huge roller coaster and listen to other people scream.
