I actually got into a looong discussion with someone about the validity of coincidence v. fate. I was so conflicted by which one is true, I went on grok and asked for scientific proof. Now, I'm all sorts of fucked in the head, lol.
Lol. Never hurts to have "something" scrape sources as a pre-surgery prep first. It's basically the Google Maps equivalent, hoping it doesn't tell you to stop on the train tracks. It beats wading through the paid for listing aggregation system that currently supports the gen-pop internet.
I enjoyed that. And yet it stirred a lot sadness about all the cool music venues we’re losing. Off topic, I know, but I’m in mourning about the state of music….

I'll take "Questions which end in 'y' for $400, Alex"
No AI. Just human pondering

Man, James. You can certainly write an ending!
Played a Christmas concert at a mall today.
The seating arrangement was very unusual.
I, on French Horn, was seated directly in front of the trombones.
Sometimes we play in unison, generally not.
Five bars from the end of the final number we both hit the same wrong note.
Neither of us got upset.
But we did have a good laugh!
French Horn looks so complex. Glad you guys laughed off the mistake. I was in a punk band. It was all mistakes and chaos
Each of us is different.
I could not imagine playing in a punk band.
Totally different talent.

Lots of dives in Detroit let musicians set up in corners
I suppose we have that, but some anchors of the community have fallen away. I DO need to hang out in Detroit more.
This is one of your best.
I didn’t feel that way. On a reread I’m starting to like it better. As long as you and a few other people like it though, I’m happy.
How is it you create entire neighborhoods in a story, J?
I’m super happy to be able to create them just from the eyes of the characters. So stoked you see it that way
I think it’s impossible not to J. Don’t want to sound obsequious but you really are a master storyteller. x p.
Stellar piece, Jimmy. I felt Joe Hill in that one.
That’s a great compliment. Thank you. Wish Joe or his papa would read one of these things
Damn Jim,
This one woke my ass up! Well done brother!
I wrote this during a time of crushing frustration so it’s super gratifying that you like it.
Snot into puppies
My man
Hahaha…yeah, I liked that one too
Man… so good!!
Thanks. Trying to keep my little corner of this joint entertaining
