Daria Potter must have repeated “Edgar wrote a song about me” four hundred times in the six days leading up to his first ever public performance and McBriar’s open mic night.
For Daria's sake, and generally ignoring the fact that they couldn't stand Edgar, Daria's friends, cousins, coworkers from Love Me Do, the Beatlemania hair salon in Turtle Lake Mall, and her parish priest, Father Loren, all came to the gig, though the kindly priest’s presence might have coincided with the fact that he was at McBriar's six nights a week.
Edgar dedicated all three of his songs to Daria, though he made the mistake of mumbling “ this one is about Daria,”, before launching into Daria Daria.
