The festival crowd oozed into the street outside Lettison Ampitheatre.

Etliak heard the pitches, had seen it a million times. If you looked closely, you’d see the parent or scuzz hovering, the person using the kids to make a buck.
Other kids played pickle barrels, one kid struggled with a trumpet. Ronny Blue, a legless vet that had been hanging downtown for years, did these quick little raps about the color of a woman’s dress or a guy’s hat.His canister always got filled up quick. No legs and a big smile with one tooth missing didn’t hurt.
