The stage lights were expanding. Not the fixtures themselves, just the purple light emanating from them. Out of the corner of Kern’s eye he could see his drummer hitting the snare. He knew he was in perfect time even though the purple light was gonna swallow him whole. A cameraman swung in front of him, like a monkey holding a large electric dragonfly.
