Jerry wasn’t a cat, quite obviously.
But for a human, he took inordinate delight in the sound of dry cat food cascading into Elmore’s bowl.
What he just heard wasn’t that sound.
It was a sound, of course, kind of a hiss/crunch mashup, maybe what his ears used to hear from inside his head when he was sitting on the brick wall behind Hong’s Dragon Chinese Food eating PopRocks.
