They picked songs on the jukebox together, laughing at the way their musical tastes differed.
Back at the bar stools Laura asked “What’s your favorite movie of all time? Take a minute, but you can only pick one.”
Eric swallowed, smiled, looked down at his shoes, back up, over to Laura.
“My favorite movie doesn’t really have a name.”
“How is that possible?” Laura said. “All movies have names.”
“Homemade,” Eric said.
Laura laughed, her eyes looked like a leprechaun about to dash off into the woods.
