Janet picked up a bunch of radishes. She had seen the scene thousands of times.
Lynn knew Janet hated radishes, she was just idly staying out of the spotlight, the clamor for photos with the guy who had two platinum albums and a soft drink jingle.
“It must be weird, after a while.”
Janet looked at her aging rockstar father.
“Honestly, I worry about the day that he gets so old or the population is so young that they don’t remember him.”
Lynn took the radishes from Janet’s hand and put them in her basket.
“You know my Dad was famous for…like five minutes?”
