Bobby’s boss gave him the tickets last minute. He swung by The Blue Moon to pick up Jerry.
The windchill had dipped into the zeros, and the wind slapped Jerry hard as he jumped in the car.
They sped down to the arena, Jerry offering to pay for parking.
He even had his wallet out as Bobby passed the Park and Lock.
“I’m paying,” Jerry said. “Pull in.”
