The space had been paid for by Dogfight Allies, the best-selling VR World Word II simulation game of all time. Elton was art director and lead illustrator.
It ate twelve years of his life, and made him wealthy.
There was a blank wall spot by the hallway to the restroom. Flipping through the drawings he had on his “B” list, having exhausted his As, he chose one and hung it.
Then he second guessed himself.
Would the young woman in the drawing be offended? Wait, she was also in Joyous, triptych in the center of the gallery. She’d be okay with this placement, he hoped.
“Yo, who drew these?”
Elton sucked in his breath and turned.
