YOUR BEST YET. IF YOU DECIDE TO TURN THIS INTO A NOVEL, I'LL READ EVERY WORD OF IT. IT'S NOT OFTEN I COME ACROSS A CHARACTER LIKE JULIA. KUDOS PLUS.

Maybe. Could be a defense mechanism. Now days, some psycho might mistake friendly for a license to take.

She makes great art though, I know it. I should have searched harder for a really good shadow sculpture image

I never thought of that. The junk someone uses for art could be so sone else’s’ Dead SeaScrolls

I prefer art. If it's a show car, someone will find someone the part. Right near your old employer is a massive warehouse of old Ford parts. I suppose that's not a shock.

My favorite thing to do.

Three dollars. Spend a few hours. Always looking. Sometimes getting ideas.

Cheaper than a coffee and more enjoyable.

Occasionally leaving with upgrades my vehicles did not have from the factory.

Not a common sight to find a woman there, but when you do, they are not looking for a boyfriend.

Generally, the only interaction is if someone needs a tool or a quick hand. Else, it's pretty quiet.

We had people running from all over when three of us tried to start an engine (they said it was OK at the gate).

Never pictured you as one who darkened a boneyard.

Very well written. I felt I was was there.

I'm horrible with cars. But I have tagged along with multiple friends for multiple reasons. I have a pretty gnarly scar on my right index finger from an incident removing a windshield at a junkyard. The story is memoir worthy.

It’s getting more challenging to find a junkyard for parts, very scarce on the West coast. It’s very cool how creative people see so much more than some of us. Enjoyed

If his ex-wives where present for all those rewrites, then those writing sessions must have been brutal!
