Both answers are mysteries. Two very different people changed by and linked by a single moment.
One was born with a challenge, one put himself in a position that created a challenge.
Up to the reader to decide if they’re both deserving of empathy and to what degree.
I know what the writer thinks. And you know the writer in real life so you can probably guess.
That is one bizarre story.
I had to read it twice to make certain I knew what I thought I knew.
This one is disturbing on multiple levels and could keep a campsite fire discussion going long into the wee hours.
