Three guys were playing Bastard Dice on the broken chunk of concrete behind Rabid Wax Records.

The latest FourShadow Grift was playing outside and inside the store, but no one would know that because FourShadow Grift never played a live show or released any music until this two song demo that sounded like Bauhaus was trying to play Led Zeppelin through kazoos jammed in their rectums.

Kiff McKinney came to Rabid Wax to see if they had the new Slawdust live at the Pheremone Theater, Halkirk, Alberta.

Slawdust refused to host their own internet presence.

No website, no socials, everything was fan created and even that was band discouraged.

Two of the three guys playing Bastard Dice were arguing.

The guy not arguing was the trombone player from Pred Ferry, who tried and mostly failed to put a speed metal edge on ska.

Kiff gave the guy a nod and walked into the store.
