Before the car was fully in park,Jackson Embry jumped out and ran to his grandpa’s open garage.
Ellen Embry put the car in park and walked in the side door of her parent’s house.
Her head was trying to guess which physical malady her mom would be complaining about.
Ellen almost walked into the back of her mom doing some exercise routine in the living room.
She stopped and stepped back, puzzled, thrilled.
Franny Embry saw her daughter in the reflection of the window and reached for the remote to pause the exercise DVD.
“Feeling better, huh, ma?”
Franny Embry was sweating.
Ellen tried to keep a poker face, but her joy and shock made her face twitch.
