Six guys left in handcuffs the night Robert Lindeman was killed.

Only one of the guys killed Eight Ball Bobby Lindeman.

His name was Steve Watzland. He was unconscious but they handcuffed him anyway, because the cops knew he had smoked Bobby while Bobby was having a smoke behind his bar, The Blue Lamp.

The other guys were guys that ran Steve down. He shot Bobby, tossed the gun on the roof of Flickman’s Dry Cleaners, and I guess he thought at fifty something years old he could still hop the fence of the American Athletics Softball Park. He was wrong.

Winston Taylor got arrested.

So did Jack Urssian, Red Mike, Bilbo and the young buck that hung with Bilbo and always table scratched on the break.

I got there late for a change, running a tab I won’t be able to pay at Lorian’s.
