If you lived in Rouge Forks, you remember the light on the top of the biggest hill of Retter Highlands, even after Retter Highlands went out of business.
Retter Highlands went under when the auto industry went sour in the early 80’s.
It was a ski resort and music venue turned into barren hills with an abandoned lodge and a couple maintenance buildings ringed with a razor wire fence.
I’m watching ‘em build condos on it now.
The big sign says “Starting from the 400’s.”
I noticed the big light is gone.
That big light saved my life.
