Mist circled the statue of the prince. The elders said when the prince’s ghost was present the eyes in the statue would glow.
In Belanterra and Sowntye seasons they would pray and dance at the feet of the statue of the prince, and the priests would convene a dance any time the eyes were glowing.
They thanked the prince for his glories and his mercy, and prayed until sunrise.
With the morning sun the statue cast a shadow that reached to Sachrio’s hut.
