I worked as a cook in a bar once. This story reminds me of it. It's great, very descriptive.

A few paragraphs in and I realized there would be a convergence.

I was guessing the cinnamon candy canes were going to be the commonality.

Of course, you did me better!

My question: Did you consider this story and write it or did you visualize it and then break it up in pieces? I ask because it's very interesting how we get a little piece of each character, bouncing each back and forth until the convergence in the finale. There seems a tremendous amount of thought and work into getting the cadence correct on this one.
