There is a lot to unpack here. Blaze grew some from his friendship with Kenny. It’s selfish to seek out a friend that will outlive him, but he’s still learning. Beautiful story.

He couldn't stop being selfish, though one could argue he didn't get his way a lot compared to most people in his tax bracket

One famous guy I know casually has burned through a ton of friends on his way to the " top" but he was a spoiled wealthy kid to begin with.

Blaze, in my mind , came from less privileged circumstances. I think he'll retain friendships.
