Doom! You take three horrible vices and make it a struggle to identify strongly with any of the characters lest we reveal our own soft spots. And then of course, make me both identify and chuckle. Love ya for it. Good one. Here’s to 999 more. I am still working on the Lusitania.

I love when characters shine high beams on the traits of the reader.

After a while, I doubt anyone hooked considers risk.

Only the feeling matters.

Maybe that's why addiction is so hard to kick.

Without a worthy substitute, there is no reason to change.

My flavored vodka was grape. I was able to move on because of family. I found writing again due to friends that I was able to make after moving on from alcohol.

We used to joke that the vodka we drank was made in a bathtub in Somerville, MA. Hindsight being what it is, I don’t think we were far from the mark. I will be reading #1000 when I sit down later. 🧐
