Astounding how you can flip our sympathies from just Casey, to both he and Walter with one line of dialogue from Walt's father. The physical abuse was almost superfluous (except, that you are never superfluous). I've encountered enough bully kids to know this is usually how it is at home for them. Excellent work, and thank you for the link.

I searched for at least a half hour to find the best link I could. I hope it's a good one. I vetoed one that looked great because they scored poorly on Charity Navigator.

Hoist by his own petard.

Don't miss childhood at all.

How you get into the different heads is amazing.

Another great story.

Thanks Joe. I'm certain acting helps me get into other heads for writing. Wait til you experience the off kilter head I got into for Ash and Bone ( LA premiere on the 28th )

I hope Walt’s life gets better when he goes to live with his mom. I hope no one kidnaps him on his way to his mother’s house. Great story, as always.

Usually when fathers have physical custody it doesn't say great things about the mom.

That is a VERY good point. I hadn't thought of that. Poor Walt.

Sad, but hopeful. His imagination won't always get him in trouble
