I got comfy and just started reading. I'll work on framing and selling Joumana a billboard on my wall tomorrow. Wearing the hat was absolutely on purpose.
That was a treat. I didn’t remember the story by title but as soon as you started reading it, I remembered it, so that says something.
Enjoyed the reading. Agree with the comment on locating yourself in the frame.
You done an audio version of Humans Being? A friend of mine is after me to do an audiobook of Noon in Florida. Actually 2 friends. Audio is apparently the new black. I don’t listen much (ask my ex wives) but curious what you think about different formats.
My friend Patrick Kirchner soundattention.com would be the only voice artist I would let touch my book and I'm not gonna do that until I can pay him the standard rate. Ok, I'd let Marisa Tomei do it too, but same principle applies.
If someone wanted to pay me upfront, for the audio book rights, which I doubt, then I would do it. Not saying you shouldn't, but I'm drowning in failed "ifcome" as opposed to income.
I could. But spending that much time with previously written work would make me more insane than I already am. I could never afford Morgan, though I did make him laugh on the set of Now You See Me ( My scene got cut ).
Really enjoyed the reading and the story, Jimmy. I don’t remember this one — probably hadn’t read it — but I know I won’t be forgetting it anytime soon. Great stuff.
that was a gift. I hadn't read that one in the archives, it was great, plus, it was read by the best working actor in Michigan.
I will get Erika Hoveland, who is the best, to read a story.
Great video, great short story, great reading skills, great hat :)
Maybe center yourself better in the video frame? You seemed to be at the bottom of the screen.

Why not you? And is Morgan Freeman booked up? I’m thinking of doing mine myself.
Apparently read by the author has cachet. If that’s how that word is spelled.

Looking forward to future stories/readings!
There will be more, Justin. Glad you liked it. Might get some of my semifamous friends to read some too.
Missed ya last week. This filled that spot up though. Thanks for sharing!
There will be more of these
Very nice. Paid product placement, a must.
Those books and art are up there because I like em. But if Joumana or the Bernsteins or Lafayette Coney Island wants the space...
