It's a shame that so many artists are unnoticed, and when they are noticed, they can't make a living from doing what they love. Really shameful.

There's part of me in all the stories, and I'm sure some of this is based in how I currently feel, but it's also about a man who was impacted by love and it briefly seemed so positive, then disintegrated with a reminder left over.

I really liked the way you developed this story. Very different. Such an interesting example, it could be used in a teaching class.

Your stories are so much more than just stories.

As always, another winner!

You know I'm trying to take different approaches, trying to keep em fresh.

You're amazing.

This story approach was totally different than any of your previous that I remember.

Carrie is a novel and King wrote in a different time.

My genre ( short fiction) and my demographic are currently in disfavor.

My screenplay has a tiny bit more life lately

Absolutely.

Not comparing you at all, just reminding of the 30 rejections (I've never read any of his stuff, just his reputation).

Or, my personal childhood favorite: Robert the Bruce and the spider.

I suppose everyone has hit a wall at least once. My last one was 10 years ago - and I'm older than you. Had to completely start from zero. Looking back, it doesn't seem so bad now.

At the time, it was difficult, to say the least. Couch surfing is tedious, at best.

I still have my health and work for the medical benefits mainly to stay off Medicare.

I keep telling the kids I work with, the J.O.B. pays for your FUN.

I was able today to stand vertically and accept nourishment - it was a great day!
