Kenny Wylie's rollercoaster of emotions in "Maid of Honor" is a vivid illustration of hope, disappointment, and the complexities of human connections. Your ability to balance the harsh realities of Kenny's life with moments of tender human connection is remarkable. It's a reminder of the unexpected ways life can surprise us, for better or worse, and how we find humanity in the most unexpected moments.

That was so well done, man. I mean who can't relate on some level, right? Lusting after the girl of your dreams; being so wasted you can't remember the night before; hoping maybe you did it, and disappointed because you don't remember it. This is one of your best.
You have captured love, disgust and the hope for redemption to end up in the arms of an angel in his eyes and not to disappoint his endangered ego. Really good story
Wylie's disgust with himself is palpable. It's just about the worst feeling to wake up still drunk from the night before with ugly flashes of memory swirling about. Residual regret and remorse lasts for days. Saddest part is that it's probably going to happen again. S/O to Gina tho. Her kindness is the yin to Wylie's yang. Your story is uncomfortable in all the best ways.

Thanks Jonah
J - this may just be the sweetest story you ever wrote. Romance and redemption at last.
Thanks. It didn't feel sweet at first. I think I traveled there with it.

Thanks Ben. I kept someone waiting to finish it. Almost broke a promise. Glad that the effort was worth it
Great one! Loved it
Thanks! Glad this one rang the bell with people. Tons more in the archive.

Thanks Carol. I rode along with that one, never sure where it was going to go.
Wow.
I love that response. Always
