So very good. Oak wants what his uncle wanted. Whatever that may be. I feel what he did to his uncle was, at least a little, out of a misguided sense of mercy .
I ced jest see meself in that backwood caben among da spruce.
Kept waiten for the men ta kill da goose.
Got a laugh out of Amanda, wondered if Turria knew it meant beloved.

I'm not even familiar with Larry Brown. I've been reading some fantastic Ronald Malfi set down south, I'm sure that had a heavy influence.
However it went down, I'm stoked you like the story
Watched this episode as I read it. Rod Serling speaking with Flannery O’Conner’s voice.
You write with a knife, J.
Thanks Patris! I love that. Loved TZ, love when my stories are strongly visual.
You do it.
Gave my son one of your books yesterday.
That makes me happy. Thank you. Hope he loves it
I have no doubt about it
Go, Jimmy!
Great job telling a story, Jimmy!

Love this colorful story! As always we feel the emotion the backward lifestyle, just perfect!
Thanks Carol. I'm always thrilled when you like them
“He don’t know what in Jesus’ bare hands he talkin’ about.” I love it!
I just try to capture the way real people talk. You take buses sometimes, right? Bus stops are a treasure chest of great quotes
