You perfectly crystallized significance of religious symbols and validated my affinity for them. I’m pretty sure nothing is divine, but man comes pretty close to making divine objects. Even if they only gather $5 at the scrapyard. Very well done
Another gem of short fiction. This one gave me a weird sense of hope. I know the atrocities of my misspent youth have hurt many. I'd love to think it helped someone. I wish I had a modicum if your talent for this. Each story I read recalls a thousand of my own. It's a little embarrassing to admit on a public forum that a few stories actually made me weep. Way to stir up emotion and get people thinking Jim. The more I read, the more I like and the more I share.
The Savior comes in many forms
Never underestimate God and claim He does not have a sense of humor!
Here's a crazy story of two junkies stealing a cross, one gets hurt and saves a man from suicide.
This story may be apocryphal, but it's certainly believable.
Another winner, Jimmy!

My thoughts were I'd rather see all religious iconry melted down and sold for scrap to feed or shelter someone in need, I'd find that divine.
There is a lot of money in gold and silver out there in churches. A lot of money everywhere that goes to waste
You haven’t seen my collection
Is there a site where I can view it? I'd kinda like to check it out. I was just kinda being a smart ass, due to my natural aversion from religion.
I love the detail: decorative light weight cross improperly mounted. And more surprises to come--nice ending.
The butterfly effect with a positive outcome. Hopefully Gil will be able to turn his life around.

I cry when I write em sometimes
Naw. It’s Just the stuff in my bc apartment. Not exhibition worthy.
