The entire thing has been a huge effort. I don't know how much longer I can keep going, especially considering the lack of growth. I'm thrilled that people like you love it, but I need more. It's not a greed thing, it's a time thing. I have hundreds and hundreds more ideas for great stories but the finances have not grown to the point that I can stop any of my other hustles. The sad thing is, it would only be about 100 more annual subscriptions. I grew steadily to the 350 mark and it just stopped. Just arbitrarily ceased growing.
I'll be saddened when the plug is pulled, but understand.
You have been a veritable machine for years now with an original story every day. That is something to be very proud of and an achievement which will stand for a long time.
Whatever comes next, no regrets.
And then I, and the rest of your fans will follow your career from a different perspective.
The song was kind of a stretch, but I love it and couldn't not share it. Probably the 3rd time I've shared a Husker Du/ Bob Mould/ Sugar song. My friend gave Bob my book when he played Detroit last. I couldn't go to the show.
What I love about your stories, Jimmy, is that I’m always pulled into the story from the first sentence. Right away, I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen.
Keep surprising me, I like it.
If you randomly and haphazardly go deep into the archive I know you'll find something you'll love
On it
WOW.
These stories coming from inside you are very real.
They cannot be easy to release, but are fantastically human.

I totally understand.
All things will come to an end.
The question is when.

Even if I phase out daily, I'd still publish something at bare minimum of once a week, probably more.
And I'd eagerly await each one!
Thank you. That means a ton to me.
Per usual - top notch. Read it in the Lyft on the way to my hotel. Thanks Jimmy. One day we’ll meet 😉
No man is an island. Even the one throwing rocks.
Brilliant. Also, really liked the song reference, it goes with the feel of the story and the content, too!

That's one of the goals. Just like music: Start strong, end strong
