Just another direction AI will replace us.

Love it. Very timely considering what’s going on in the Voiceover industry, and dubbing is low hanging fruit. Although porn would probably go before Seinfeld (comedy is way more subtle).

Very creative story idea. I can just imagine Kramer in Russian.

Loved the rage from Andrej - I also appreciated his professionalism. I'm programming the database which will replace me.

shit's about to get weird... quick. The output of the coming AI/GPT should be consumed as fiction and art; however, these systems will become integrated and irresistibly convincing very quick.

Here's to keeping it analog [for now]👍

I've spent over 2 and a 1/2 years pumping out the best fiction I possibly can for very little money. I can only hope that in retrospect people know that it was real human emotion and thought and not AI.

Discerning readers do know, and feel, the difference. Unfortunately, most of the stuff that gets clicks, shares, and ultimately money is clickbait and stuff AI could replicate (listicles, etc). This was a great article that should give hope to writers amidst the foreboding footsteps of AI https://thisisyouth.medium.com/chatgpt-wont-kill-writing-but-it-will-kill-content-d3d2fe3af3cd

Great punchline!

Sad how porn pulls the industry.

For example: VHS was a sorry excuse for a recording media, but it was open-source and the porn industry used it instead of BetaMax (a far superior product) which SONY controlled.

Porn is huge money but it leaves nothing but a trail of destruction in its wake.

And huge money is a seductive mistress.

Voice acting is such an amazing profession. It will honestly be such a shame if it all gets replaced by robots. Though my theory is that it’s not ALL going to be replaced by robots, at least not right away. Instead, I think they’ll have one voice actor doing all the lines. They won’t even need to be like Scott McNeil or Keith Silverstein or other actors with a wide vocal range. They’ll just need to act and the computer will make them sound like whatever the show needs them to sound like.

One voice inputted into the machine, a hundred AI voices outputted. Very cost effective. But individual actors bring something unique to the productions that they’re a part of. Having only one person do all the acting, even if they’re very talented, can’t entirely replicate that.

If they kill the creative class- or try to- they'll have riots in the streets because creative people will find a way to inspire the masses to revolt
